About Us

Our business was started 20 years ago with a $500 investment and a life long love of books. The first year in business we put over 35,000 miles on our car buying books. We have brokered book deals in twelve states, and have always been very selective about our business sources.

We got our start dealing only in used textbooks, but before long we branched out into just about every type of book you can think of and went online in the year 2000. We now offer over 32,000 volumes on line. Amazingly, we remain primarily a two-person operation.

In addition to providing an ecommerce book store, Bound & Determined has donated thousands of books to BooksforAfrica.org to help improve literacy in several African countries. We have shipped books to service people in Iraq as well. We are interested in providing a great retail service, but also in acknowledging some very real charitable needs that can be served from our position.
